The Sachs Teacher Development program is designed to place more Black Educators in Colorado classrooms. Educators who are a part of the program are able to apply for funding for professional development and classroom materials in addition to the regular support provided through the program.

If you are an educator who is enrolled in the Sachs Teacher Development Program, you are invited to apply for applicable funding through our online application.
Sachs Foundation Scholars may submit requests for emergency assistance to the Sachs Foundation at any point during the duration of their scholarship. Scholars must be in good standing, enrolled full-time, and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Emergency assistance funds may be awarded for housing, utilities, food, or transportation that will allow scholars to persist in their studies. No student shall be given any funding directly for personal use or for additional tuition support. Reimbursements are provided on a case-by-case basis with adequate documentation only, for example, receipt and/or invoice.
